Cultural Capital is one store of knowledge and proficiency with artistic and cultural styles that are valued by society and confer prestige and honor upon those associated with them.
Consumerism is a social and economic order that encourages the purchase of goods and services in every greater amounts. An example would be shopping. The saying "spend til' the end" is true in some cases. People will spend til they have no more. Why? because we want what we cant have.

Emotional Energy is a strong benefit of group membership (society, a cultural group or structural group) is the emotional energy one receives from taking part in social gatherings. Durkheim called this "collective effervescence". Like the Atmosphere concert, when it gets quiet and then all of a sudden everyone sings the same song, all you hear are hundreds, thousands of people enjoying something without a care in the world.
